Commissioned in France and shipped to Bermuda, she was lightly campaigned, including a podium finish (3rd place) at Antigua Sailing Week. With ambitions to race the renowned Melbourne to Osaka Yacht Race, the owner shipped her to Australia and prepared the boat to full Category 1 offshore standards.
