Over the many years of living at Eildon, I have had the pleasure of meeting so many families that love the lifestyle that the magic of Lake Eildon provides.

The owners of this houseboat are one of them and when in 2015 they decided to build their dream houseboat holiday home it came time to name her.

Lake Eildon has provided them a good life, a sweet life, a beautiful life and a name to embody these sentiments was "La Dolce Vita".

La Dolce Vita was built in 2015 by leading professional houseboat builder, Anchorage Houseboats. You know she is well built. She is 50 feet plus Duckboard in length and 20ft 6in in width. Composite Aluminium was used for external cladding and eaves to minimize maintenance but also to provide a fresh appearance.

La Dolce Vita is designed for a family with 3 good sized bedrooms which includes the Master with an Ensuite (Vanity & Toilet). The Kitchen is very well presented with Caesar Stone Benchtops and self-closing draws. Importantly a large Pantry and serviced with quality appliances. The large double door fridge/freezer is impressive.

Relax in the very comfortable rear lounge as you watch the kids jump off the duckboard for a swim; even the dog loves it too.

The First Storey Level is a feature on La Dolce Vita which provides another relaxation/entertainment space all year round. Great design for a family houseboat. There are front and sides opening tinted windows. Sit up at the servery/bar for a meal or drink; watch sport on the TV; or enjoy the sunshine on the rear deck.

Being a modern recently built houseboat you would expect high quality Solar Electrics and La Dolce Vita delivers. It starts with a top of the range Selectronic SP PRO Series Inverter/Charger System; an Outback Flexmac Solar Charge Controller; 12 x Hoppecke Gel Batteries; and 12 Solar Panels. This is all backed up by a quality Kohler Generator. Plenty of Power.

La Dolce Vita is powered by a Mercruiser 4.3lt MPI V6 motor, which is in excellent condition; still looks new. Then there are front and rear thrusters to make sure she is easy to manoeuvre.
