The all-new Trawler 36 is the Rhea -Marine latest addition to its Trawler series of luxury personalized motor yachts, and will be available in both Flybridge and non-Flybridge versions. This model comes to full fit the Trawler range which will start from the 36 to 67 feet. The Trawler 36 conserves some characteristics of the well-known Rhea Trawler 43, with a lot of innovation on a boat of this size. With his assertive, fluid lines, the 11.30 m boat offers all the comfort of a high quality cruising boat: It features two cabins and one bathroom, a large L shape saloon completed by by a couch convertible into a double berth (BZ system). The L shaped kitchen on the aft starboard side of the saloon is fully equipped with cookers and oven, front opening fridge and storage.

The galley can be seen from the cockpit via an opening window. The window locks itself under the flybridge, creating an American bar layout. This allows communication between the cockpit and the galley, creating a fantastic atmosphere, getting the crew all together between the saloon, kitchen and cockpit area. The cook will no longer feel alone!

The impressive large cockpit gets even bigger when the transom unfolds and opens up, offering you a real balcony on the sea with a direct access to the water. A ladder from the cockpit gives access to the flybrige, which is designed to use the full width of the boat and the maximum length. The result is astonishing for a 36 footer! The pilot console starboard forward is equipped with a double pilot seat, which can be turn into a seat for the flybridge table. (The backrest swings forward). The cockpit table is surrounded by large U shaped settee, which can seat 6 guests comfortably. On the other side of the flybridge is an L shaped settee with backrest and lockers to close the saloon area without cutting access back and forward to the helm station.

Back on the main deck, two wild gangways allow for easy and secure access from the back to the front of the boat. Two sliding doors on each side of the coach roof allow for easy inside and outside access. The front deck offers a large sunbath for two persons.

Under the deck, the large forward master cabin offers a large semi island berth, 1.95m x 1.60m with storage and ventilation.

The starboard side features a cabin with two single berths and storage. Opposite of this cabin, a large bathroom fully equipped with marine toilet, hot and cold water and separate shower.

BAVARIA will be at trade show Nautic in Paris again this year with the latest models from its yacht and motor boat lines.
The company will showcase seven new products, including two completely new ranges of models. A highlight in Paris will be the world premiere of the VIRTESS 420 Coupé.
From 8 to 16 December 2012 the Paris boat show will again feature outstanding innovations and classic designs from the world of water sports. With over 1,200 exhibitors and 1,400 brands, more than 230,000 visitors are expected.
This year BAVARIA will display seven new products. These will include two models from the VISION line, the new luxury sailing range which was developed this year with FARR Yachtdesign, Design Unlimited and owners from all over Europe. Two models from the CRUISER line, the new CRUISER 33 and the CRUISER 50 will also be shown to the French visitors.

BAVARIA will also include new products in the motor boat sector with three new SPORT line products, including two hardtop models. A highlight at Nautic in Paris will be the global premiere of the VIRTESS 420 Coupé, the second yacht in the new luxury line.
The BAVARIA motor yachts SPORT 29, SPORT 35 HT and SPORT 44 HT, as well as the VIRTESS 420 Coupé luxury yacht will be showcased in hall 4 B1.

Congratulations to Paul Moggridge who has upgraded his life with a beautiful Nustar 42 Homecruiser, seen here with Jason Chipp test driving his new aquisition on the Fitzroy River in Rockhampton. With help from former owners Lloyd Day and sons, Paul braved the trip from Sydney and after a few minor modifications is looking forward to enjoying his boat as a second home in Hervey Bay. Congratulations also to Lloyd who has recently purchased a Tennant Power Cat off Jules Leege to replace his Nustar. Happy fishing gentlemen!

Bavaria has a great representation for Hamilton Island Race Week. For all yacht owners Hamilton Island Race Week is an event not to be missed, and as I heard quoted around the island – “It is like a schoolies week for yachties!” The trend continued through the docks as I bumped into Bavaria owners and chatted with them about what they expected out of the regatta.I was elated to find some very cool cats, whom were quietly confident and relaxed as they sipped away on a cold beer. Two Bavaria 55 Cruisers were supported by Ensign Racing, and both were awesomely presented yachts and crew on the race course.

Limitless - owned by Bill Hili had a number of podium finishes and wrapped up the series with a comfortable 4th. Well done to Bill and all his crew, this was a wonderful result for a reasonably light wind regatta.

Tonic – owned by Robert Pizzie went one better, choosing to race in Cruising Division 2. He also collected some trophies during the week, finishing with a 3rd overall, one point behind 2nd place - a super effort.Ensign Racing and Musto would like to thank both Robert and Bill for a great representation of the brands and hope they had just as much fun as we had!

Bavaria and Ensign Racing Throw a Party!

Mid way through an already eventful regatta, Bavaria and Ensign Racing threw a hell of a Bavaria party at Hamilton Island Race Week. Carefully scheduling it the night before the lay-day, the Ensign team introduced themselves to Bavaria owners and crew around the BBQ at their home for the week.

The invites went out and RSVP’s came in a plenty. The turn out was huge and the chef was over-run as he fed the hungry sailors. "At last count we had 80 people enjoying the great atmosphere Bavaria and crew. Owners that weren’t racing showed up and mingled to see what all the fuss was about.
