In the Italia Yachts 16.98 project, the tradition of great oceanic fast cruisers is revived, updated according to modern knowledge in the field of hydrodynamics. IY 16.98 is a true blue water, designed to cover long distances on a cruise, combining performance, comfort and timeless style, with the guarantee of always safe navigation even in severe conditions. Italia Yachts 16.98 is a complete and all-round boat, with fast cruiser performance and oceanic boat behavior at sea, all enclosed in classic and at the same time original lines. The result is a sailboat to be maneuvered easily, even with a family crew, with which to live long periods, savoring all the joys that the sailing cruise can offer.

The deck incorporates the organization and equipment typical of maxi yachts: three separate areas in the cockpit, wide decks free of equipment and numerous areas where you can lie down in the sun. The winches for adjusting the foredeck and mainsail are perfectly sized, all with the possibility of electrification. Two rails are installed on the deckhouse for the jib sheets including the relative trolleys and gearboxes. Aft of the wheelhouses, the flat surface, with an open platform, is in direct connection with the sea.
