Paris Boat Show Worldwide Premiere Sense 55
|
This is it! The biggest nautical event in France – the Paris Boat Show – is now over! After nine days of exhibition hosted at "La Porte de Versaille", the 2011 Paris Boat Show has come to a close.
The feedback from this year's show is quite mixed, since the European market is still fighting to cover it's previous 'shine' in this strong nautical market.
We noticed that Beneteau has been doing well, with plenty of sales and a successful start on the new Oceanis range. Furthermore, there was a particularly high level of interest in the Sense 55, which was on display at the Paris Boat Show on worldwide premiere.
There is no secret that in this kind of economic climate, the key factors to success are as follows; innovation, new concepts, product quality increase, and price positioning. Only the leader in yacht design can afford to mix these factor together – BENETEAU!

COMING SOON: The Flag Ship of the Sense Range - Sense 55
|
Of course, this new Sense takes on all the attributes of the Sense range -
The saloon/cockpit relationship, access to the sea and the exceptional accommodation in every living area, all in a style that has universal appeal - but adding more based on the Beneteau Group knowhow, which is widely recognised in the world of the large luxury yacht in the CNB (Bordeaux 60 and customs maxi yachts). As a result, in the forward part of the Sense (55) you will recognise layouts similar to those of a 100’ CNB yacht.
Notably there is a magnificent owner’s cabin, with some benefits belonging to the world of the luxury yacht.
Welcoming visitors on board takes place in equally luxurious surroundings: 2 double VIP cabins entered through large sliding doors, front and side access to the berth and each of the guest cabins has its own head compartment.
Other key features of this yacht: the choice of finishes. The possibility of a leather finish to certain parts of the furnishings, the use of high-gloss varnish, top of the range carpet or the chance to personalise the hull colour are all tangible signs of our willingness to offer an exceptional sailing yacht within a budget that remains controllable.

Hot off the Press NEW Oceanis 41,45,48 announced
|
Beneteau has just announced the release of three new models in the Oceanis range.
The Oceanis has been reinvented with the introduction of the 41, 45 and 48 models – the product of two long years of hard work by Beneteau’s research and development team.
These modern yachts show a noticeable development in yacht design, centred on a high-performing and comfortable new generation hull.
Eligible for Dock & Go technology, the three yachts are a distillation of a series of innovations in both navigation and comfort which, until a few years ago, were reserved for the world of Super-Yachts.
The new range incorporates beauty and functionality, with a chart table that converts to a living table, a bilge increasing overall comfort and an open bathing platform making access to the sea easier.
With its 4 layouts, it is a yacht that adapts to all requirements: from going round the world with 2 or 3 cabins to accommodating large families with 4 double cabins.
Stay tuned for more information to come from Ensign Ship Brokers.

Trade A Boat recently headed to France to get on board the latest offering from Beneteau.
Here's what they had to say...
"The Sense hulls are state-of-the-art designs, with conspicuous aft chines that taper off mid-hull into quite fine bow sections."
"Both Senses have similar rigging layouts, with twin furlers up front of the test boats, for standard overlapping headsail and optional gennaker."
There's plenty more to read.

Dock & Go The latest on offer from Beneteau
|
Dock & Go joystick steering makes manouverability simple
With just one hand, Dock & Go gives you intuitive and enjoyable handling thanks to the use of the cross-shaped joystick at the helm. A 360° pivoting saildrive base is synchronised with the bowthruster through a computer. The helm automatically stays blocked during the manoeuvre. Moving 90° to port or starboard, forwards, astern and turning on the spot allows you to move the boat in a restricted space and to access the most complicated places in the harbour.
The Oceanis 46, Oceanis 50 and Sense 50’ may be equipped with the DOCK & GO option.

Ensign at Sanctuary Cove Boat Show
|
The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show was a success this year for Ensign Ship Brokers.
With four boats on display, including the First 30, First 40, First 50 and Oceanis 40, it was a great opportunity for the public to get on board and experience some of the Beneteau range first-hand.
The Beneteau 30 day Race Against the Clock sale generated plenty of interest in the Oceanis range, with Ensign Ship Brokers recording the sale of two Oceanis 40s.
Ensign also provided a bit of novelty at the show with the Ensign Mini Beneteau Regatta.
We held races with ten fully-functional sail boats. We hope you all had a chance to have a race!
There are still plenty of great deals on offer.
If you need any assistance or have any questions, please give us a call on (07) 5532 1122. |
